County Durham teenager shortlisted for national RSPCA photography competition

Updated: Mar 29

"A 16-year-old photographer from County Durham has been shortlisted for a national RSPCA photography competition.

Libby Andrew, 16, from Consett, captured an adorable photo of Alf the spaniel rolling around on the grass with a tennis ball in his mouth.

The picture, which has been named 'Happy Alf', is one of fourteen animal pictures shortlisted in the RSPCA’s ‘People’s Choice’, which is part of the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards.

The RSPCA Young Photographer Awards is an annual competition which is ‘blind-judged’ by a panel of photographic experts including Chris Packham."
