They can then distribute or use the donated items as required, making a real, tangible difference to someone's life. It also means that they don't have to spend money donations on items, and can instead use it for those things only money can buy.
There is no minimum order size, and all items include free delivery.
Barnabus don’t pay for our service, and we use just £0.50 of the item prices below to cover our transaction costs and price fluctuations from our suppliers. We don't profit from the sale of any items on the website, and instead rely on corporate sponsorship to keep us running.

We’ve always done things differently in Manchester. This is why the city has come together to end homelessness under the Manchester Homelessness Partnership. Barnabus is proud to be part of two action groups that work to provide practical solutions to help homeless people get back on their feet.
Barnabus' mission is to empower people to build new lives through finding a new home, but they can’t do this alone. They work hand-in-hand with the Mayor’s Greater Manchester Homelessness Action Network and Coalition of Relief, Greater Manchester Police, Manchester City Council and Big Change. Whether it’s applying for rent deposits or making sure friends on the streets are safe, these incredible organisations help Barnabus in their mission to end homelessness.
This is where the foundations of a new life are laid.
Barnabus' Street Outreach teams go out in the evenings to meet rough sleepers and build relationships, encouraging them to come to our Drop in centre and visit their Support Workers and Health and Wellbeing Nurse.
It's a vital first step to welcome friends and gain trust so they can begin their journey of recovery away from the streets into a home.
The Beacon Drop-in Centre
For a lot of our homeless friends, the Beacon Drop-in Centre in Manchester is their first experience of Barnabus. For Barnabus, the Beacon is a vital space for giving hope and building new relationships.
There’s no appointment needed. Barnabus' dedicated staff and volunteers run five morning and four evening sessions a week, where people can make the most of a cooked breakfast or dinner, fresh clothing, healthcare and social activities. It’s also a chance to refer people to our dedicated Support Workers for 1-2-1 support.
Donating in kind is obviously just one way you can support Barnabus. We recommend you check out the resources below to see how else you can help!

We don't look to, or encourage the replacement of money donations, rather compliment them!
